I constructed this quilt in 2023 as a 2-fabric quilt challenge from my quilting club. I used a disappearing hourglass pattern to make the top. It’s backed with a colorful coordinating fabric I found at Rusty Moon Quilt Shop at Willow Springs MO. Heather Bayless of Lamar MO quilted it for me using a gorgeous copper-hued thread in a repeating leaf pattern. It has a layer of lightweight batting and a layer of heavy canvas in the middle, making it not too thick but nice and heavy, comforting and cozy. It measures 55″x66″, perfect for draping on a couch or overstuffed chair.
